ALL OUT!! The 2014 Olympics are Less Than a Year Away!!

Greetings to all you Jess-A-Maniacs out there!!! (My Hulk Hogan reference).  I’m happy to hear that you all continue to enjoy my "Beckploits"

I just want to thank every one of you.  Without all your support, I would not have been able to achieve any of my goals over the past years.  In this letter, I am asking for your advice and help so that I can complete the race and become an Olympian.

Just as we are two weeks into the off-season we are also two weeks into the Olympic Year! I’m looking forward to a "Jesstactular" (ok, that's it.) summer of training. I will be getting my game up this summer to prepare for what will be a trying but successful season that, God willing, will see me become an Olympian in 2014!

Making the 2014 Olympic Team will be a hard fought battle since we have so many great athletes on our team who will all be battling for spots. However it’s a task that I am mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually prepared for!

Unfortunately I currently do not have any financial sponsors which I need in order to be able to compete this season (Sponsorship is tax deductible)!  That being said please let me know if you have any ideas on ways that I could raise money for my season, or if you know of any persons/companies who may be willing to sponsor me.  If you know of any potential sponsors please direct them to the sponsorship section on my web-page http://www.jessebeckom3.com/5.html or have them contact me directly.

I need raise $9k in sponsorships for the season.  The funds will go directly towards all my Bobsled expenses including hotel stays, flights, rental cars, ice house push track fees, training gear and etc. If you like, you are more than welcome to donate miles to either my United or Delta mileage accounts; please call/e-mail me for my account details.

Other teams around the world have the luxury of being government funded however this is not the case for me as I compete for a spot on Team USA. Therefore my intention, once again, is to work as I train for the upcoming season.

Because this is Olympic year, there is a delicate balance between working, training, and recovery that I must maintain in order to perform my best in competitions.  This year also requires me to travel more in the off-season; making trips to the push tracks in Calgary, Canada; Park City, UT; and Lake Placid, NY.

I know that the majority of companies might find it hard to really understand that one of their new employees was travelling so much. So I am looking for those special sponsors who see the goal as clearly as I do, who understand all that is involved, and who are willing to help me do whatever it takes to achieve it!

Thank you all for continuing to follow me and for all the prayers!!

God Bless,

Jesse
